Commission on the Status of Women (CSW)

The CSW promotes gender equality and women’s empowerment. Topics that are commonly used for debate are women’s rights, gender-based violence, or economic inclusion. Delegates propose policies to advance women’s status globally, producing recommendations and resolutions to influence UN strategies.
